For a couple of weeks, a persistent young woman from Homer, Alaska continued to email me about giving her younger sister a wetland tour for her birthday. They were already down here and would be for about three weeks before heading to other states impacted by the oil spill.
Should I be broadcasting that fact to the Whole Wide World, or the World-Wide-Web, as this case may be?
First off, thank you all very much for the feedback and encouragement after the last post. It is now part of the World Wide Web, cached forever, dirty laundry perpetually hanging on the line of the internet for all to see. With that in mind, I can see now why one reader says it’s best to keep life and internet separate. Maybe, maybe not.
I’ve often wondered how a famous blogger like Pioneer Woman continually entertains her readers with well-photo shopped photos, contests, and generally witty posts while life goes on around her.
