Cypress Cottage Kitchen-Dining Renovation
Here’s what we did between the dining room and kitchen. Here’s a gander at the bar/separator from the kitchen view BEFORE demolition And here it is again from the living room view BEFORE demolition The AFTER view from the kitchen. Now it’s not there! See? No, you don’t see it. And again from the living…

Fishy things!
There were several title options for the post. And there are so many things I’d like to include, or should I break things up and spread things out over time? First off, I owe somebody an engraved Community Coffee Scoop. Since there was no real winner of the on-the-sly-comment-contest I ran last week, I guess…
Louisiana Outdoor Writers Annual Conference
I just got back and will give you a full report as soon as I can. I’m tired, so it won’t be tonight. Also, I will be scouting for trout first thing in the a.m. Tuesday morning: Report for Jury Duty for the first time in my life. If I get chosen, I hope it’s…

Wild pink what
It’s NAME THIS FLOWER CONTEST time again. I know you’ve been biting your nails and pulling out your gray hair in all your spare time, just waiting for this moment to arrive on your computer screen. So please, don’t be shy. Be brave. Venture a guess. And remember, these are flowers that I come across…

You got some great shots Wendy. Eagles are making a great comeback nation wide. We have seen so many in our travels. They are awesome birds we never tire of seeing.
They are really awesome birds. Thought of you day before yesterday, saw 3 osprey on the way back in from fishing.
I would’ve run off the road slamming my brakes seeing one of those magnificent birds!!!!! I know they winter here around Caddo and Lake O The Pines, but have never seen one except when we lived in Alaska…saw them all the time…..and was ALWAYS in awe of their powerful presence and breath taking beauty……You have inspired me to start watching for them locally. May have to run over to the lake today for a peek.

I still have family up that way, but I don’t get up there nearly as often as I’d like. Always enjoy your comments. That bird was GORGEOUS! Oh, did I mention I saw 3 osprey coming back from fishing Thursday?
