Guess who's coming to town Friday?
So the industrious, ever-resourceful BW heard about a casting call a week ago from Capt. Swallow, and her wheels started spinning. She went online and found out that the same casting crew would be coming to a nearby town, and she knew exactly who this crew needed to meet.
I've said it before . . .
and I’ll say it again (at least once) . . ”Oh, a wondrous bird is the pelican! His bill holds more than his belican. He can take in his beak Enough food for a week. But I’m darned if I know how the helican.” PS: Mr. and Mrs. Painted Bunting are still hanging…
Happy Thanksgiving, one and all!
The Captain does not eat turkey. The Captain does not eat dressing. The Captain’s favorite Thanksgiving meal is this . . . White beans, rice, and fried oysters. No matter what else BigSis and I prepared, I prepared this separately for him. I’m not really sure if he knew how much trouble it was, but…

Mid-Life Women & Fishing
You never know if you like a food, unless you taste it. You never know if you like a type of music, until you hear it. You never know if you like a massage, until you feel it. Well, fishing is the same way. I am of the opinion that more women would enjoy going…

Grasshumpers!
Ok, make sure that you are sitting there when the children read the name of this photo–that’s what PG stands for, right? Parental Guidance? Then you can explain what hump means and all that rest of the birds and the bees stuff. Good luck with that. Lucky for you, your children have more fun things…
Wow! Is this a rat snake?
Yes, that would be correct! I think it was thinking about eating some kitten.

Deb in Tx, with one shakey cup of coffee…shhhezzzzzzzz
Yea, I’m with you, Deb. I hate to kill a non-poisonous snake, but this one startled him and the big yellow dog, and yes he did use his Christmas present on it. Watch out for those copperheads, though.
Hope Termite used his Christmas present on “God’s one mistake”.
Yes, he surely did!
Yikes. I try to maintain an agreement with the snakes around our place: you stay outside of our property lines, and I won’t kill you. Unless you’re a copperhead, and then all bets are off.
Yeah, I just remembered, I can’t come down the bayou… ever… again. *shudder* Where WAS that?! And it’s a king snake, right?
Oh… missed the first comment. Rat snake. I can see it now. I’m going to have to adopt ALL those little kitties!
Please, please please come get the kitties. Better yet, I’ll drop them off with a bag of food, and Muzicman will just think they belong to the big white house next door, where they ALWAYS have cats, right? Hey, that sounds like a good plan!
It’s the water moccasins from the pond across the road that I REALLY hate to find in my yard! Big, black ugly vipers.
You go, Termite!!!!
Cuz, we don’t tolerate water moccasins here AT ALL!
